Welcome Students!

We're so glad that you've decided to participate in History Day this year! Before you get started there are a couple of things we'd like you to keep in mind:

1. Your teacher must be registered in order for you to register. Please wait to register until you're sure your teacher has already done so.

2. If you have a group entry, you'll all need to link your accounts to the same project.

In order to make the contest as engaging as possible, we are happy to offer optional virtual student interviews with judges this year. These virtual interviews will take place on Saturday, March 13th.

Students who are unable to or wish not to participate in this optional event, will not be penalized. The inability to participate will not impact their overall contest evaluation and rankings – as the project should stand on its own. More information, including schedule and guidelines, will follow once registration closes.

Thanks to a generous donation made by the William K. Laidlaw Jr. Memorial Endowment Fund, we are delighted to offer scholarships to cover the regional competition registration cost ($10.00) for a number of students.

To be considered for this scholarship, please complete the application form located here. The deadline for submission is Satuday, January 30th. Please note, any late submissions will not be accepted. Students will be notified of their application status on Wednesday, February 3rd.
